Crossroads Community Church

What You Can Expect

Our fellowship is unconventional by design.  Just as our meeting space is a community center rather than a traditional church, we want people to feel at home at Crossroads – to experience a sanctuary from the cares of the world and to find a place to belong.  We want folks to “come as they are” – in attitude as well as in attire.  It is rare to see anyone wearing a tie, blazer, or formal dress to our weekly gatherings; people come to worship in whatever makes them feel comfortable. We begin our services with the sharing of praises and concerns, make announcements about opportunities to serve our community, and follow this with a pastoral prayer. We sing a few songs (a mixture of some contemporary songs and some hymns) and then hear a biblically-based message appropriate for our time and circumstances. Once a month we celebrate the Lord’s Supper.  We do not force anyone to participate or guilt people into a response. We do not collect an offering. We do not single out visitors. We hope to make you feel welcomed and loved without causing you to feel smothered or awkward in any way.
